Turning a corner

Canada Day, 2011 – We went out for a bike ride, little e on a trail-a-bike for the first time (seat post cut down a wee bit so he could reach the pedals better) and S on her new red wheels. As we zipped down the hill, E in the lead, little e squealing in delight on the back, S pedalling frantically to keep up and me bringing up the rear, I saw our family turning one of life’s corners.  Bye bye stroller, bye bye bike trailer . . . two wheels and trail-a-bikes from here on out.
