Recovery

July 27, 2011 – Home now and the little guy is resting. He was a trooper. When they brought us into the recovery room, he was sitting up nicely in the bed, selecting his treat. He chose a plastic ruler with sport holograms on the front and multiplication tables on the back (he can quiz his sister) and one of those foam gliders.

She ended up having to extract one tooth 😦 Too far gone.  There were a lot of fillings. I haven’t been able to get a good look but the peek I did get revealed a crown on the lower left in addition to the crown I know about on the lower right. There will be a spacer where his tooth was. His cheek is puffy and there are traces of blood on his cup from his two sips of water. The few moments he was lucid in the car he said his teeth were “too hard”. I sure hope jello and popsicles for dinner will soften the blow!
